- 60-75 min

- All levels. You must be able to swim
What it is
Floating is our way of practising on the water. Everyone has their own floating board, wide and stable, anchored at sea, on a lake or in a pool, and that is where the session happens. The gentle rocking makes your whole body work to keep its balance, and the water all around makes it a very different experience from a studio.
With EKKO headphones you hear the teacher perfectly even when you are a few metres apart, with no shouting and no wind carrying the instructions away. The music and the voice go straight to your ears.
There are several formats, depending on the event:
Floating Pilates
Pilates exercises on the board. The instability of the water multiplies the work of your core, glutes and stabilising muscles.
Floating Yoga
Yoga poses and sequences adapted to the board. Balance, flexibility and focus, with the water as your mat.
Floating Yoga Nidra
The yoga of conscious sleep: lying on the board, the teacher's voice guides you into deep relaxation while the water rocks you.
Floating Mindfulness
Mindfulness meditation on the water: breath, sensations and sounds, with no rush.
Floating Breathwork
Guided breathing techniques to energise or calm the body, with the stillness of the water around you.
You do not need to know how to paddleboard: the boards are very stable and there are always instructors in the water.
How it works
- Arrive, pick up your splash-proof headphones and a life vest if needed.
- On the shore we show you how to get on the board and move on it.
- We head into the water; each board is anchored in place, close to the others.
- A 45-60 minute session of the chosen format, with the music and the teacher in your headphones.
- Back to the shore, hand back the headphones and stay a while in the sun.
